 Well it is just amazing how fast time flies by these days. The 2010 Christmas shopping season is already here. Below you will find the lists for the top 2010 Christmas gifts. As always we will include what is hot for the adults and teens but our main focus will be the kids. After all they are what really makes Christmas fun.

I really can't think of a time that I enjoy more than Christmas morning and just watching their faces as they unwrap the gifts and find out what they got this year. The shopping is fun and I really love picking out just the right gift. The anticipation leading up to when I get to see them open it nearly drives me crazy. (I could do without all the cleaning up afterwards though.)

Syma S107 Indoor Metal Frame Remote Controlled Helicopter

These little remote control helicopters are really a blast. Since they have started being made I have not met a kid yet that does not love them. The biggest draw back is that they can only be used in-doors. If you take them outside and there is any wind at all then they will crash, or worse just fly away.

These things can be flown by young children but I have noticed that the younger the child the sooner the toy is destroyed. They are not expensive though and the kids get a lot of fun out of them before they do break.

The Syma Metal Frame RC Copter is the newest of these mini RC helicopters and we expect that these will be a little tougher then the older foam and plastic models.

So here is our list of Top Christmas Gift Ideas for 2009. While they are all popular toys I thought I would go ahead and point out my favorite. That is the Snap Circuits educational toys. In my opinion that is the best gift on the market right now. It of course has a lot of educational value but beyond that it is just down right fun. Something that you can play with the children and all of you have a good time.

Ben 10 Alien Creation Challenge

With the movie this fall Ben 10 is going to be fresh on all of the kids minds just in time for Christmas. There is a wide selection of toys and games but our number 1 pick is one of the newer games called Ben 10 Alien Creation Challenge.

With this game you have to create your alien before the time runs out. If you are too slow then it all blows up in your face. The game includes 4 alien figures and eight combo cards that you need to play the game. As well as the storage container and the alien key needed to unlock the figures.

You can expand on the game a little by going online and downloading additional combo cards or by adding more figure packs. I would start buying anything Ben 10 related on the Early side this year. No telling how fast these things are going to sell after the movie comes out.

  Zhu Zhu Pets

Zhu Zhu Pets seeem to be extremely popular all of a sudden and more than a little difficult to get. These are faux hamsters and each one is supposed to have its own personality and make unique sounds. These interactive toys have several buttons on them that allow you to change the mode or you can pet them behind the ears to let them know you are ready to cuddle.

These pets do have motorized wheels so make sure that the kids don't sleep with them. Since this is an interactive toy the motor can turn on by itself and may get caught in the childs hair.

Bumblebee with Sam

Bumblebee is without doubt the most popular Transformer hero of them all. Even Optimus Prime the Leader of the Transformers does not even come close to having the same status as Bumblebee. This toy features Bumblebee along with his best friend Sam. (The human from the movies) There are quite a few toys out there for Bumblebee and one of them is actually a little more popular than this one. It also has a lower rating from people that have bought it though. This means that Bumblebee with Sam will be our top pick for Transformers this year.

LeapFrog 2 

The most important job that a child has is to learn. This is not always an easy job if you are sitting there listening to a teacher drone on and on. Of course you know that kids spend a lot more time learning than just what they get in the classroom.

  GX Racers Super Jump

The GX Racers are going to be a huge hit for the 2009 Christmas Season. These are new cars and they have a gyro in the middle that spins fast enough that these cars can go a scale 600mph. Don't worry though, these cars are only 1/64th scale. That means they are actually only moving about 10mph so they won't be flying around the house like bullets.

They have several different styles of Gyros that can be changed out. They are designed to do different things such as stunts, racing, or off road. You can spin up the Gyro using a rip chord or they have launchers that you can use. The rip chord kind of reminds me of the motorcycles I use to get when I was a kid.

The Little Mommy Walk and Giggle Doll is a fully interactive toy that does just about everything that a toddler does. She can stand up by herself, walk, fall down, tell you when she is sleepy, and drink from a bottle.

Wolverine was one of the most popular movie with kids this year. Although I was worried that the movie may be too violent and grown up for my son he finally wore me down and I let him see it.
